Colleague engagement is closely linked with our business success. We aim to measure the engagement and satisfaction of our colleagues regularly, conducting employee surveys at least every two years.
Working with an international supplier, we also conducted our first Leadership Voice survey of 679 senior leaders in TUI Travel PLC, published in October 2008. The survey gathered opinion on a range of topics including Engagement, Vision & Values, Leadership Effectiveness and Business Direction & Strategy. The results helped us to understand the progress made in embedding TUI Spirit and our strategy in different parts of the Group. We were also able to identify opportunities for improvement.
