Charitable giving

We have developed a Groupwide charity policy and guidelines to ensure transparency in our charitable activities and to enable us to report annually on TUI Travel’s charitable giving.

During the year, the Group made charitable donations of £290,799 (2008: £236,200). The Group made no political contributions during the year (2008: £nil).
